We operate an online platform that allows users to compare electricity plans from various retail electric providers in Texas and, with your signed authorization, act as your agent to enroll you in the plan you select. Our services include:

  • Plan comparisons and pricing information
  • Educational resources about electricity plans
  • Optional renewal notifications
  • Submitting your enrollment to your chosen retail electric provider on your behalf, with your signed authorization
  • Custom brokerage for larger or multi-site accounts, such as running competitive supplier auctions on your behalf

Compensation Disclosure

We believe in full transparency about how we make money:

  • Our plan comparison service is free to use
  • When you enroll in a plan through us, we are compensated through a margin that is included in the per-kWh rate shown to you; that margin is paid to us by the retail electric provider and is part of the rate you agree to pay
  • We may offer optional premium services (like renewal alerts) for a direct fee, which will always be clearly disclosed before you choose to use them
  • We show you the plans available to us that match your needs, because we believe in helping you find the best option for your business

Any applicable fees for optional premium services will be clearly disclosed before you opt to use them. We charge you no separate fee to compare plans or to enroll; our compensation is the margin described above.

As required by the Public Utility Commission of Texas, we inform you that:

  • We are not a transmission and distribution utility or a retail electric provider, and we do not represent any utility, REP, or other broker; we act solely as your authorized broker and agent
  • We maintain all licenses and registrations required to operate as a broker in Texas
  • You have the right to choose any REP regardless of our recommendations
